“Monstrose” describes irregular growth. A seller’s TBM A, TBM B, long-form or short-form label needs its own source record; the wording alone does not authenticate an individual clone. Retain the original label and whether you received a cutting or seedling.
Species context
The bridgesii name is placed under Echinopsis lageniformis in Kew. That botanical treatment does not establish the origin of every monstrose plant in cultivation.
Distortion versus a new health problem
